Bozana (Buca) Kovacevic-Puric, 74, passed away on August 15 at the Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto. She was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia on February 19, 1941 to the late Acim, and Nadezda Strineka.

Being a wartime era baby she spent her early years in Belgrade's bunkers, and on the run. This, and many other hardships she faced would never waiver her zest for life. As a child she had an insatiable appetite for learning, and herself insisted on starting the first grade two years earlier than most. Growing up she became somewhat of a renaissance woman, painting/drawing, playing piano, and learning to speak 5 languages. In her early 20s she used these language skills, her love of cultures, and passion for adventure to begin her lifelong career in the hospitality/tourism industry travelling the world.

She will be remembered the most for her love, her strength, her bravery, her passion, and being the life of the party.

She is survived by brother Nikola, and sons Bob and Sasha Puric.
