Bik Ha Kwan, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 21 at the age of 79, surrounded by her loving family. She lived graciously and courageously with bile duct cancer until the very end of her journey of life.
Bik Ha’s warmth and kindness were felt by all who knew her. She had a remarkable gift for caring for others, most often expressed through her passion for cooking. Her greatest joy was gathering family and friends around her table, making sure everyone left her home with full hearts, full stomachs, and smiles on their faces.
Bik Ha was an avid walker with a deep love for the outdoors, often outpacing people half her age on long, spirited walks. She also cherished playing mahjong, watching Hong Kong movies and watching sports with her family, especially hockey and tennis. Some of the family's most fondest memories are spent Thursday night dinner together filled with laughter.
Her radiant smile, gentle spirit, and generous heart left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Bik Ha is survived by her children, Leung, Ping, Ling, and Ming, and her seven cherished grandchildren. She is reunited in peace with her husband Chun and her parents.
