Beloved wife of George Lavigne. Loving mother of Peter Preenen, Michele Preenen-Watson (the late Philip), and Rosanne Wiktor. Step-mother of Dawn Livingston (Jim), and Keane Lavigne. Beverly will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Nicolas Preenen, Jace Preenen, Cameron Watson, Corey Mentel (Sarah), Olivia Paisley, and Savannah Paisley. Beverly is predeceased by her parents Wilfred Kennedy, and Florence Cecy. Loving sister of Ronald Kennedy (the late Carol), Sandra Skerratt (Jim) and the late Wilfred Kennedy (Ellen).

The greatest joy of Beverly's life was her family, whom she showered with unconditional love and created countless happy memories. Beverly had many talents such as playing the piano, dancing, singing in the choir, and cooking. She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Beverly was a long time sponsor of Children's Hospital, Children Believe Foundation and Christian Children’s Fund.

A Celebration of Beverly's life will take place at THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE (1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, 905-579-6787) on Friday October 3, 2025 from 1pm - 4pm, with Words of Comfort at 1:30pm.
