On January 13th, 2026, Beverley Yvonne Wilson, passed away peacefully at the age of 74. She is forever cherished by her dear son Trevor and her daughter-in-law, Caterina. Beverley is reunited with her late husband and good friend, Kevin Wilson, as well as her parents, Acil and Florence Chapman.

Beverley devoted her life to caring for children. For more than twenty years she worked as a preschool teacher, guiding countless young lives with patience, kindness, and joy. Even after retirement, when Beverley moved up north, she felt a similar pullback taking on a new role as a crossing guard, with the same dedication and deep-seated commitment to early childhood development that defined her career.

Beverley loved the water, and in keeping with her wishes, she will be returned to the place that brought her the greatest peace.

Beverley will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Donations in memory of Beverley can be made to the Breast Cancer Society, and the Canadian Cancer Society of Canada.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Elgin Mills Funeral Centre (1591 Elgin Mills Road East (905) 737-1720) on Saturday, May 2nd at 2:00 p.m., with a Visitation before beginning at 1:00 p.m.
