<div itemprop="description"> <p> <b> Ward: Beverley Leslie (nee Colvin) </b> -Passed away peacefully at Lake Ridge Health Centre on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at the age of 61.&nbsp; Devoted wife of Melville George Ward.&nbsp; Holding her memories dear are her sisters, Christine Nabieszko, Heather Brachvogel and Pierette Girard. Treasured daughter of the late Dolores Martin and Lesley Colvin.&nbsp; Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and in-laws.&nbsp; Will be sadly missed by stepson, stepdaughter and grandkids Brian, Christine, Shannon and Taylor Ward.&nbsp; Bev&rsquo;s professional life was a passion for her.&nbsp; She became Vice-President at HMS during her 23 years with the company, then left to pursue new challenges.&nbsp; After graduating with honours from CDI with a LAN Administrative degree, she joined RBC where she excelled in every position she held.&nbsp; After several promotions in quick succession she became a Project Analyst working on many high profile projects.&nbsp; Bev had a tremendous zest for life both at work and home.&nbsp; Mel was the love of her life, many happy memories made up their 37 year marriage.&nbsp; From camping to Jamaican trips, home ownership all filled their life together.&nbsp; After a breast cancer diagnosis in 2005,&nbsp; Bev became a mentor to many other women going through the same journey.&nbsp; She joined the CIBC Run for the Cure raising several thousand dollars each year to help beat the burden this terrible disease wrought on so many.&nbsp; Bev&rsquo;s many friends at work and home will truly miss this woman blessed with courage, humour and hope.&nbsp; &nbsp;Visitation will be held at the Visitation Centre in Mount Pleasant Cemetery 375 Mount Pleasant Road (east gate entrance) on Tuesday, May 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.&nbsp; Funeral service in the chapel of the visitation centre on Wednesday, May 30 at 11 a.m.&nbsp; Interment to follow at Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery.&nbsp; Donations in Bev&rsquo;s memory may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.&nbsp; On line condolences may be made at &nbsp;www.etouch.ca&nbsp;&nbsp; </p> </div>
