On Saturday April 18th, 2026 surrounded by the love of her
family, Bev passed peacefully away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
She was 88.
Bev was the beloved wife of Ian (predeceased) and the cherished
mother of Sharon (predeceased) and Heather (Carl).
Bev will be greatly missed by many friends and especially by her
sisters Lois, Paddy and Margaret and by her dear cousin Barbara
as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bev was born in Montreal, Quebec. She had many hobbies and
particularly enjoyed reading, camping, knitting, shopping and
volunteer work. Bev also enjoyed chatting on the phone and
spending time with cherished family and friends. She was also a
huge sports enthusiast and especially loved the Montreal
Canadiens and the Toronto Blue Jays. Bev will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice would
be appreciated. Celebration of Life will be at Thornton Cemetery
(1200 Thornton Rd. N., Oshawa, L1J 0C9 (905-579-6787)) at
1pm on Wednesday, June 3rd. Internment will follow at 2pm.
