鍾汝彬先生 Ben Joong
January 15, 1931 - November 15, 2015
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Gung Gung on Sunday, November 15, 2015, at Sunnybrook Hospital. Escaping the duress of the Chinese Communist Revolution Ben escaped to Hong Kong and came to Canada in 1954 to begin a new life. He lived apart from his wife Susan and two sons for six years before the family was re-united in 1960. Since that time he lived a happy and prosperous life and even until his last days he enjoyed vigourous walks and cooking meals for his grand children.
Ben is survived by his son, Gary Joong; his daughter, Shirley Powell (William) and he was the adored grandfather of Spencer and Emma Powell. Our family is grateful to his caregivers and doctors at Sunnybrook Hospital. Their respectful, warm, and professional care was exemplary.
