With deep sadness, the family of Baldev Singh Gill announces his peaceful passing on November 2, 2025, at the age of 91. Born and raised in India, Baldev lived a life anchored in strength, discipline, and honour. He proudly served in the Indian Army, dedicating many years to his country and retiring as a Major in 1986, a role he held with immense pride.

In 1989, he moved to Canada to create new opportunities for his family. Through hard work, resilience, and determination, he built a life rooted in love, stability, and strong values. Baldev was known for his unwavering work ethic, his steady presence, and his quiet but profound wisdom.

He was a devoted husband to his late wife, Jaswant Kaur, and a loving father to his son Mohinder Gill and to his daughter Manjit Khaneka. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. To his family, he was a pillar of strength—someone they looked to for guidance, support, and unconditional love.

Baldev will always be remembered as a hardworking and deeply dedicated man who placed his family above all else. His legacy lives on through the values he instilled, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so generously.
