Haynes Darlington passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, on December 15, 2025, at the age of 88.
He was the husband of Nola Darlington (née Smith) and a devoted father to Shawn Darlington (Jacki Dewart) and Tracey Sharma (Raj Sharma). He was a proud and loving grandfather to Keshav, Roma, Trey, and Priyanka.
He is survived by his sisters, Moreen Darlington (John) and Hilda Darlington (Lisle), and was predeceased by his brother, Heath Darlington.
He is lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Alison Hinds, Gordon Smith, Gillian McCarthy, Justin Smith, Lisa Salmon, Natasha Smith, Nick Goddard, Paul Goring, and Russell Smith, as well as his great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his nieces and nephews James Smith, Roberta Lumb, and Eammon Smith.
He will be remembered for his determination, his deep love for his family, and the joy he found in being surrounded by family and friends. He leaves a lasting impression on all who knew him.
