<div itemprop="description">LOTE, Arvids &ndash; Born in Tome, Latvia in 1922, passed away peacefully at Toronto Grace Health Centre on Thursday, August 28, 2014 in his 93rd year. He came to Canada in 1949 and started working for Ontario Hydro until 1987 when he retired as the Superintendant of Electrical Construction at the Pickering Nuclear Plant. Dearly loved and missed by Marta, his wife of 70 years, his children Aija and her husband Ken, and son Uldis Richard. Dear grandfather of Larissa, Sandra, Chris and Jeffrey. Proud great grandfather of Charles and John (J.J.). He was loved and will be missed by his family and friends in Canada and Latvia. Family and friends will be received at York Visitation Centre (160 Beecroft Road, Toronto, ON) on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 3-4 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 4 p.m., reception to follow.</div>
