Arnold Eugene (Gene) King, also known as Arnold Eugene Taylor, commemorated his 95th birthday on June 12th and passed away peacefully in his sleep at Erin Meadows Care Home in Mississauga on Thursday, August 6th, 2026. Beloved brother of Bobbe, Lancelot (Lance) [d], Terrance (Terry) [d] and Mary Elaine (Elaine) [d]. Uncle of Rick, Wendy, Jennie and Janet. Great Uncle of Mark and Jack. Partner and Love of his life, Christine [d]. Survived by her children Patricia and Mike. Close friend of Max [d] and Robert [d]. Eugene was a longtime celebrated concierge of The Southampton condominium in Toronto. In his final year he struggled with dementia and was generously cared for by his dear friends Robert, Sharon and many others. A private family service will be held in the coming days.
