Antun Vidic, 82 years old, of Pickering, Ontario, passed away on January 6th, 2026. Born on July 27th, 1943, in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Hercegovina, he was a devoted husband to Marijana and a loving father to Andrea and Mark.

Dad was hard-working and dedicated. He spent his working life as a tool & die machinist, where he manufactured parts for the aviation and aeronautical industries. In spite of his career, he always made time for his family.

He was a man of integrity, and he left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Having lost his own father in the war, he deserves to have his long years of fatherly love honored.

Dad's hobbies and interests included working in the garden, and listening to classical music. His fitness and physical activity was something he shared with his children, leaving a mark on us that will never fade.

He is preceded by his wife, Marijana. He is survived by his daughter, Andrea (wife to Daniel), son, Mark (husband to Christine), and granddaughters, Natasha, Siena, Bianca, and Elizabeth, as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly. Special thanks to the staff at Extendicare Bay Ridges who took wonderful care of him during his final years.

We find comfort in knowing that Dad and Mom are together again, and that his legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
