In memory of

Antonio Dias

April 30, 1954 - December 13, 2022

Antonio (Tony) Dias passed away on December 13, 2022, at Scarborough General Hospital. Predeceased by mother Betty, father Manuel and brothers Rudolf, Randolph and Richard. He will be dearly missed by his sisters Rachel, Joan, Gail, Rhonda, Anne, and Carmen, and brother David. Brothers-in-law Irwin and Keith, his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Tony was born in British Guiana on April 30, 1954, and moved to Canada where he lived until his passing. He attended Harold R Lawson School. He worked for David and Mary Thompson Collegiate.

He loved all of the Toronto Sports Teams, but favourites were the Toronto Maple Leafs, who he hoped every year would be the year they won the “Stanley Cup”, and he also loved the Blue Jays.

Tony enjoyed travelling, gardening and skiing. He had a great sense of humour and found the silliest things hilarious.

We would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at Scarborough General Hospital for the care they provided for him, and also thank you to his personal Medical Team and PSWS.

Tony will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be celebrated at a later date.

In memory of Tony, donations to the Salvation Army or Charity of your choice is appreciated.

In memory of Antonio "Tony" Dias, donations may be made to the Salvation Army.

No public services are to be held.
