With deep love and sorrow, we remember and celebrate the life of Antonio Chang, who was born in the Philippines and passed away peacefully in Canada on December 11, 2025.
Born on November 11, 1952, to Chang Hiok and Sy Boa, Antonio began life as a blue baby—his survival a true miracle and a testament to his strength and God’s grace. From those fragile beginnings, he went on to live a long and meaningful life filled with love, generosity, and faith.
He was a devoted father to his daughter, Stephanie Chang, and his son, King Andrew Chang. Above all, he was a proud and loving grandfather who cherished his grandchildren deeply, finding his greatest joy in their laughter and presence.
Antonio was known for his generous heart—not only to his immediate family but to extended relatives as well. Friendly and approachable, he made everyone feel welcome. Practical and wise, he loved a good sale, often reminding us that being careful with money was also a way of caring for the family.
He was also a wonderfully funny man, always ready with a joke or a lighthearted story. His sense of humor filled gatherings with laughter, and his stories—often told with perfect timing and a warm smile—brought joy and comfort to everyone around him.
A man of deep faith, Antonio was devoted to the Church. He faithfully attended Mass, served as a volunteer, and dedicated his time as a sacristan, quietly offering his service to God with humility and devotion.
Though his passing leaves a deep void in our hearts, we find comfort in the life he lived and the love he gave so freely. His kindness, humor, faith, and devotion to family will live on in our hearts forever.
Rest in eternal peace, Papa. You are deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
