With sincere sorrow, we share the news of the passing of Anne Kelessi (nee Petrou) on November 4, 2025 at Campbell House Hospice in Collingwood, Ontario. Anne was born on January 18, 1933 in Oschima, Macedonia. She immigrated to Canada in 1951, and in 1953, she married George Kelessi, the love of her life. Sadly, George predeceased her in July 2021.
Anne and George moved to Wasaga Beach 30 years ago, where they enjoyed a full and abundant life, often spending their winters vacationing in Florida. Anne had a passion for gardening, baking and crocheting, creating many beautiful pieces that she lovingly shared with family and friends.
Anne will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, Campbell House Hospice, and Dr. Brian Marshall for their compassionate care.
