In loving memory of Ann Jordan, forever in our hearts.
With profound sadness, we mourn the loss of our Annie, Ann Jordan (née Clarke), 80, who passed away on May 28, 2026. She leaves behind beloved daughter Dr. Nané Jordan (Chris Cordoni), granddaughters Danaan and Shanti Cordoni-Jordan, dear sister Sarah “Sally” Stolar, and former spouse, Eric Jordan. Ann was predeceased by her parents, William “Billy” and Violet Clarke, and brother-in-law Dr. Robert Stolar.
Born in Northern Ireland in 1946, Ann undertook the journey to Canada as a ‘wee’ girl with her family, making their home in Toronto. From a young age, Ann was an artist with keen creative intellect. After the birth of Nané, she earned her BFA from the Ontario College of Art, and MFA from York University. From this time are fond memories of the Shaw Street house, and onto Queen Street West days, where Ann made a home for herself and Nané. She then had a long career with Eckler Partners in Toronto. In recent years, Ann and sister Sally enjoyed close companionship. Ann will be sadly missed by the family circle in Ireland, and many friends in Toronto, including those from art school days, the book club, and Gilda’s Place.
Oh, the summer time is coming,
And the trees are sweetly blooming,
And the wild mountain thyme
Grows around the blooming heather.
Will ye go, lassie, go?
And we’ll all go together
To pluck wild mountain thyme
All around the blooming heather,
Will ye go, lassie, go?
I will build my love a tower
Near yon pure crystal fountain,
And on it I will build,
All the flowers of the mountain.
Will ye go, lassie, go?
And we’ll all go together
To pluck wild mountain thyme
All around the blooming heather,
Will ye go, lassie, go?
If my true love, she were gone,
I will surely find another
Where wild mountain thyme
Grows around the blooming heather.
Will ye go, lassie, go?
And we’ll all go together
To pluck wild mountain thyme
All around the blooming heather,
Will ye go, lassie, go?
