<div itemprop="description"> <p> Angela Maria Fiore passed away peacefully on February 23, 2012 after a long and brave fight against cancer. She was 65 years old. </p> <p> &nbsp;Predeased by her parents Enza and Franco Fiore. She was a loving wife to Greg Sander, daughter-in-law to Mary, mother of Jasmin ( Kelly), cherished Nonna to her granddaughters Kaia and Adria; sister to Rose (Sonny) and Tom ( Tina);aunt to Francesco; niece to the late Rosa ( Angelo) and cousin to Jim, Lois, Jarod and Emily. </p> <p> Angela had a love for teaching, travel, nature and her family. In over 25 years of teaching she made a difference in the lives of her many students who appreciated her kindness, patience and dedication. &nbsp;She and Greg made many wonderful memories travelling and exploring the world together. </p> <p> Angie was incredibly brave and strong, a fighter to the end with a positive attitude and love of life. She had an extra special place in her heart for her granddaughters &nbsp;who always made her laugh and smile. Her spirit and strength will continue on in the hearts of all the people who love her. </p> <p> A special thanks to the staff at Baycrest Hospital, palliative care wing for the wonderful care you gave her during her last few months. </p> <p> In lieu of flowers, donations to Baycrest&nbsp; Palliative Care Unit or the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. </p> <p> Friends may call at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, (275 Lesmill Road, east of Leslie, South of the 401, 416-441-1580) on Sunday, February 26 from 2-4pm and 6-8 pm.
