It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Amalia Vrantsis who left us peacefully on September 12th 2025 at the age of 68.

Born on July 12th 1957 in Florina, Amalia lived a life centered on love, family, and simple joys. She had a gift for turning everyday moments into treasured memories, whether through her delicious home-cooked meals, her funny stories, long peaceful walks in the neighbourhood, or the time she spent nurturing her garden. Her flowers and vegetables were a source of beauty and nourishment, much like the love she poured into her family.

Above all, Amalia found her greatest joy in her family. She was a devoted mother and a proud grandmother who cherished raising and caring for her grandchildren, always offering them warmth, guidance, and unconditional love. She leaves behind her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Toni, who was her partner in all things. Together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and strength that will continue to live on in the hearts of their family. She is also survived by her children Sophie (Raymond) Jim (Effie) Her grandchildren, Emily, Catherine, William and Nicholas along with many other relatives and friends who will miss her deeply.

Amalia will be remembered for her generosity, kindness, and the way she touched the lives of all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the recipes she shared, the gardens she tended, the walks she enjoyed, and, most of all, the family she nurtured.
