Alice Evelyn Tremain
September 28, 1915 - April 18, 2014
At Thompson House on Good Friday, April 18, 2014, in her 99th year, Alice Evelyn Tremain peacefully entered the presence of the Lord whom she dearly loved and faithfully served. She was predeceased by her parents, Alfred Wesley Tremain and Della Irene (Pannabecker) Tremain. Also predeceased by siblings, Rita, Ella, and Ford and their spouses. Aunt to many nieces and nephews (and great, and great-great, and great-great great nephews and nieces). Loved and loving sister of Jean Clark (Orval d.) and loved and loving aunt to Jean's family - John, Paul, Esther, Timothy and Philip and their families. Treasured friend. Throughout her long and full life, Alice used her gifts of creativity, music, and administrative skills for the glory of God and the good of others. Many thanks to the staff at Thompson House for the competent and compassionate care that Alice received over the past 8 1/2 years. A service in celebration of and thanksgiving for Alice's life will be held at The Simple Alternative, 275 Lesmill Rd. on Sunday April 27 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, gifts to Thompson House or Donway Baptist Church in memory of Alice would be appreciated by the family
