<div itemprop="description"> <p> <b> Adolph Dickson, M.D. </b> </p> <p> It&rsquo;s with sadness that we announce the passing of Adolph Dickson, M.D. on&nbsp;Sunday November 4, 2012&nbsp;at UniversalCare in&nbsp;Richmond Hill,&nbsp;Ontario,&nbsp;Canada. Dolph, as he was affectionately called by his family and friends, was 98 years old and leaves behind his beloved wife Elizabeth Joan and his sister Julija. Cherished father and father-in-law to&nbsp;Linda and David, Patricia and Ross, Ken and Vida, Birute and Don, Dalia and Arvydas. He will be&nbsp;lovingly remembered by his grandchildren&nbsp;Alnis, Luke, Ian, Ashley, Kevin,&nbsp;Victoria, Darius, Richard, John&nbsp;and his nine great grandchildren. Dolph was born on&nbsp;May 10, 1914&nbsp;in Smilgiai,&nbsp;Vilkavi&scaron;kis,&nbsp;Lithuania&nbsp;and earned his Degree in Medicine before immigrating to&nbsp;Canada. He practised&nbsp;family medicine in&nbsp;Willowdale,&nbsp;Ontario&nbsp;from 1962-1994. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, skiing, the opera, the symphony and the ballet. Dolph will be fondly remembered by family, friends and former patients in&nbsp;Canada, the&nbsp;USA, and&nbsp;Lithuania. Special thanks to the incredibly compassionate staff at UniversalCare LTC, Mackenzie Heath and Rayoak Place. Friends and family are invited to gather at the York Cemetery and Visitation Centre (160 Beecroft Road, Toronto, On., M2N 5Z5)&nbsp;on Sunday November 25, 2012 at&nbsp;11:00 a.m., with service and reception to follow at&nbsp;noon. In memory of Dolph and in lieu of flowers, donations to Prostate Cancer Canada would be appreciated by the family. </p> </div>
