Xương Nghĩa Vương

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Xuong Nghia Vuong, who left us peacefully on July 19, 2026, at the age of 83.

Born on March 1, 1943, Xuong lived a life shaped by resilience, quiet strength, and an unwavering devotion to his family. To know him was to know a man who found his greatest pride not in accolades or possessions, but in the family he nurtured and the lives they built.

He was the heart of our home and the steady foundation for his devoted wife, Nga Thi Nguyen, with whom he shared a lifetime of cherished memories. He was a proud father to his four children—Que Chan Lam, Hung Chan Vuong, Hieu Chan Vuong, and Quyen Taylor—and he watched with immense joy as his family grew to include his beloved grandchildren: Lisa and Victoria Lam; Kimberly, Patrick, and Katelyn Vuong; Matthew and Madison Vuong; and Emily and Nicholas Taylor.

Xuong’s legacy is found in the kindness he modeled and the wisdom he shared. He was a man who showed his love through his actions—a constant, reassuring presence who took deep satisfaction in seeing his children and grandchildren succeed. He was the grandfather who always had an open lap or a sturdy back ready for a piggyback ride, and his warmth had a way of filling a room the moment he entered. He was truly happiest when the house was bustling with the sounds of his family gathered around him; we will forever miss his gentle spirit and the sense of safety he provided just by sitting quietly in the room.

Those who knew him during his younger years will remember him as an avid athlete, having built a reputation as a dedicated professional soccer player and referee in Vietnam—a reflection of the discipline and passion he carried throughout his life.

His family extends their deepest gratitude to all the caregivers, family members, and medical professionals whose compassion provided him with comfort and dignity during his final days.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Xuong's life and pay their respects at the Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre.
