YIP, Wing Toy (Wayne), born October 2, 1932, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care (Mississauga) on July 17, 2026. Wing Toy (formerly of Orleans and Quebec City) was predeceased by his beloved wife and soul mate of 54 wonderful years Wai Wan Lee Yip (née Lee). Coming to Canada as a young man, he worked tirelessly to provide for his family and instilled in his children the value of education and family. He took great delight in watching the family grow as spouses, grandchildren and great-grandchildren came along. He will be sadly missed by his loving children and their spouses Alex (Angie), Sophie (Warren), Ernie (Anne), Susan (Dana) and Jones (Chi). Loving grandfather (Gong Gong) of Samantha (Damian), Meghan (Jim), Cassandra, Michael, Nick (Mel), Catherine, Eric, Stephanie, Rachel, Alicia (Shane), Brandon, and cherished great-grandfather of Eva, Jason, Zoe and Malcolm. Predeceased by his sister Lai Quen Yip Chin (née Yip) (Kee Sing). The family would like to thank the nursing and PSW staff of Floor 4 for their compassion and kindness. Dad (Gong Gong), we miss you so much.
