Our beloved mother, Weiming Li, was born on the Liaodong Peninsula on February 13, 1930. On the evening of October 11, 2026, she passed away peacefully in the Lord at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, surrounded by the family she cherished. She was 96 years old.

Mother’s early life was marked by a happy and prosperous childhood. In her youth, she worked diligently in a garment factory before choosing to devote her life entirely to her home and family. In 1966, she and her husband relocated to Hebei Province with the factory, and in 1994, she began a new chapter by moving abroad.

Facing the profound grief of being widowed in middle age, Mother single-handedly raised her five children into successful individuals through sheer devotion and strength. Her nurturing spirit extended through the years, playing an essential role in the healthy growth of her grandchildren.

Mother’s boundless love has left an enduring legacy across three generations, and her virtuous example will be remembered and honored forever.
