In memory of

Victoria May Wadsworth

May 27, 1947 - May 7, 2026

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Victoria (Vicki) May Wadsworth (nee Myers), on Thursday, May 7th, at the age of 78. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Malcolm; her children, Malanie, Colleen, and Emily (Alexandra); her cherished grandchildren, Calla, Tristan (Kaitlin), Taylor, Mark, Natalie, Kayley, Alida, and Lyndon; and her great-grandchildren Jaxxson, Bentley and Maeve. Vicki is predeceased by her parents, Frank and Etta Myers (nee Duke). Her gentle kindness and joyful laughter will live on through her family.

Born in East York and raised in Scarborough, Vicki carried a deep connection to community, nature, and family throughout her life. She later raised her family in Ajax by the water, where she found peace and joy in the beauty of the lake and natural world around her.

Vicki was a woman who deeply loved and advocated for nature, finding peace, beauty, and inspiration in the world around her. Whether admiring the changing seasons, watching birds, spending time outdoors, or encouraging others to care for the environment, she carried a profound appreciation for the natural world. She also had a quiet creative spirit and expressed herself through drawing and painting. Her laughter was warm, and her sense of humour brought comfort and joy to many moments throughout her life.

Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing her love remains with us always.
Forever loved, forever remembered.

A private service in honour of Vicki’s life will be held at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens. Vicki valued the work of The Hospital for Sick Children and donated regularly in support of their care for children and families. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour her memory may consider making a donation in her name to the SickKids Foundation.
