It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Gale, wife, sister and aunt, at home on September 5th, in her 78th year.
Gale and Ronald shared 56 wonderful years of marriage, filled with love, laughter and treasured memories. She was a loving sister to Karen (Brian), Teresa (David), the late Terrence (Katherine), a cherished aunt to Neil (Brooke) and great-aunt to Cole.
Gale devoted more than 35 years of her life to being an Educational Assistant, where she brought patience, kindness and love to the Kindergarten children in her care. They admired and adored her, and she treasured them as much as they treasured her.
In retirement, Gale found joy in gardening, volunteering and attending yoga classes at Momiji and collecting cat and bear items. Most of all, she loved her family and was always there to care for them in her quiet, selfless way. Her kindness and gentle strength touched everyone who knew her.
Our heartfelt thanks go to Larry, Ann, Gerry and Martyn for their love, friendship and unwavering support of Gale and Ron.
A private family service has taken place. If desired, donations may be made to the Momiji Health Care Society (momiji.on.ca) or to a charity of your choice.
Gale, you gave us a lifetime of love, kindness and beautiful memories. Your quiet strength and gentle spirit will remain forever in our hearts. We will miss you more than words can say and love you always.
