In memory of

Stephen Pollard

August 11, 1950 -  August 14, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Stephen Kenneth Pollard, who passed away peacefully at home on August 14, 2025, at the age of 75, with his wife and daughters by his side.

Stephen was a devoted husband to Kelly, cherished father to Melissa (Richard Taylor), Amanda (Kevin Bidgood) and Suzie (Rudy Segura) and a proud stepfather to Lindsay (Justin Licis) and Tyler August (Brittany). He was a much-loved Grandpa (papa) to Richard, Zachary, Jake, Kyle, Lyla, Luke, Ryan, Jax and Leo.

Predeceased by his father Kenneth Lloyd Pollard, Stephen is survived by his loving mother Marjorie Patricia, his dear brother Jeffrey (Shannon), and nephews, Jason and Kenny Pollard, along with his extended family who will remember him with great affection.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Stephen carried forward the family legacy through Pollard Roofing (SKP Roofing). Over the years, he earned deep respect within the construction industry for his leadership, integrity and generosity.

An avid outdoorsman and hunter, Stephen held a special love for the family cottage on Chandos Lake. In his younger years, he could often be found on the baseball diamond or in a hockey arena where his competitive spirit shone.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at THORNTON CEMETERY AND FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa (905-579-6787). Guests may gather from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm., with words of remembrance beginning at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Stephen’s memory will be gratefully accepted by the Canadian Cancer Society.

He will be remembered always for his love of family, his kindness, and his enduring legacy.
