We come together to remember and celebrate the life of Shawn Michael Girouard, October 30th, 1972 - October 7th, 2025. Shawn was a devoted partner to Grace Cadiz and a devoted father to Danielle. He also leaves behind his mother Marjorie, his father Fidele, his sister Charlene (Rob), his sister Michele (Domenic), his nephew Anthony (Andrea), his niece Brittany (Steve), his nephew Robert, and his great grand niece Amelia — along with friends and extended family who loved and cherished him deeply.

Shawn enjoyed spending his down time at Grand Bend with his loved ones and he loved to watch and cheer for the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Shawn will be remembered by his kind heart and soul. Without hesitation, he was always there for his family and friends whenever they needed him. Notably, he was an incredible caregiver to his parents and was always there to celebrate the special moments of those closest to him. That was Shawn - dependable, thoughtful, and incredibly kind. Shawn was loved by everyone who knew him.

Shawn was also a valued member of the Ainsworth family for 27 years, dedicating nearly 3 decades of his life to his team with unwavering commitment, integrity, and professionalism. Shawn's work ethic and pride in his technical craft left a lasting impression on everyone who had a privilege of working alongside him.

We will all miss Shawn deeply and will carry him in our hearts forever. May he Rest in Peace.
