God called Serene peacefully and unexpectedly on Oct 17, 2023 at the age of 17. Serene is lovingly remembered by her parents Derek and Zenith; and by her Grandparents Maria and Hongmei. Serene will be held dear in the hearts of her family, cousins, relatives, teachers, schoolmates, church members and many friends.

Serene was an inspiration to all who knew her. She was talented in many aspects: music, arts, writing, and language. She had extraordinary sense of humor, compassion and understanding of life. In the past one-year Serene had been battling with daily migraine and excruciating pain, yet despite of that, her optimism and her love for life still had an immense impact on everyone around her. Serene followed her intuition and lived life with authenticity and compassion, bringing love, light and joy to everyone in her life. She truly made the world a better place. With broken hearts we will keep her memory alive by embodying her spirit into our lives.

Our beloved child: know you are loved and thank you for gifting us 17 years of happiness. You are in the arms of Jesus Christ and have no more pain. Rest in peace, till we meet again.
