Rolf passed away on February 27, 2025, at Trillium Mississauga Hospital following a short battle with pneumonia. His memory will forever be cherished by his wife of 67 years, Helga and their children John (Indra) and Ralph (Becky). He was a proud grandfather to William, Melanie, Michelle, Lisa and Shannon and great grandfather to 5 great grandchildren.

His career was always spent working with wood, first as a cabinet maker then as a builder of billiard tables and finally as a wood veneer artisan. Even in his spare time he would tinker with small projects which always involved wood. Over his life he became an excellent bowler and then later turned his attention to golfing, often playing with his two sons.

Family and Friends will be received at THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE- MISSISSAUGA 1535 South Gateway Road (at Dixie Road, two lights south of Eglinton) 905-602-1580 on Saturday April 5, 2025 for a Celebration of Rolf’s Life from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

In honour of Rolf, donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
