It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father Rolando Jimenez Ruiz, on April 13, 2026 at the age of 79.

Born on August 30, 1946 in Manila, Philippines. Rolando was the cherished son of the late Dr. Ramon G. Ruiz and late Maura J. Ruiz. He grew up with 4 brothers and 7 sisters, and plenty of nieces and nephews too many to lists. He was surrounded by love and carried that love into every aspect of his life.

Rolando was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Maybel Cabaron, and a proud and caring father to his three sons, Raymond, Ronald, and Richard, and his daughter, Elaine. He was also a deeply adored grandfather to his daughter’s son, Tristan, who brought him immense joy.

He will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor and his dedication to his family, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him.

Rolando leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and cherished memories that will forever live in the hearts of his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 19 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pine Hills Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, ON

A short viewing will take place on Monday, April 20 from 9:00 AM to 10:00AM followed by the funeral service at Pine Hills Cemetery.
