It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Robert Aggio on 13th of August 2026 at the age of 66.
Robert was a devoted partner, father, stepfather, grandfather, son, brother, friend, and colleague whose warmth, generosity, and larger-than-life personality touched everyone he met. He had a remarkable gift for bringing people together and making everyone feel welcome. Whether at a family gathering, on a golf course, or among lifelong friends, he was often the life of the party, known for his infectious laugh, quick wit, and genuine kindness.
He is lovingly remembered by his devoted partner, Lynda; his beloved children, Brandon (Kate), Andrew and Kathryn (Scott); his two cherished stepchildren, Tommy and Robbie; and his three treasured grandchildren, Kenzie, Austen and Aiden, who brought him endless pride and joy. He is also survived by his mother, Elia; his brother, John (Mary), his nieces, Jessica (Dan) and Jackie (Tyler), along with a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and relatives who he loved dearly. He was predeceased by his father, Mansueto.
Nothing made Robert happier than spending time with the people he loved. He enjoyed many happy days golfing with his partner during the week and spending time with his grandchildren on the weekend. Whether cheering them on, wrestling, sharing stories, or simply enjoying their company, he treasured every moment spent with them.
Throughout a long and successful career in insurance, Robert earned the respect, admiration, and friendship of countless colleagues and clients. His ability to connect with people was unmatched, and many professional relationships grew into lifelong friendships.
He was also fortunate to maintain a close-knit group of friends from childhood who remained an important part of his life for decades. Through life's milestones, celebrations, and challenges, they shared a bond built on loyalty, laughter, and unwavering friendship. Along with his many cousins, these lifelong friendships were among the relationships he treasured most.
Robert loved to dance and never needed an invitation or a crowded dance floor to get started. Whether at a wedding, a family celebration, or simply wherever music happened to be playing, he would be the first one up and before long, everyone else would be joining him. His enthusiasm for life was contagious, and some of the fondest memories of him are of his smile, his laughter, and his ability to bring people together.
While his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him, his memory will live on in the stories shared, the traditions carried forward, and the countless lives he touched along the way.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
May there always be music where he is, and may he always be the first one on the dance floor.
In honour of Robert's life and legacy, donations may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation in lieu of flowers. The family is grateful for your kindness and remembrance during this difficult time.
