Robert Ernest Brown

Passed away at Chester Village LTC on June 30th. He was born on June 28, 1932 in County Tyrone, N. Ireland to Robert & Sarah Brown. Known to his family as Bertie. He will be remembered by his brother David (Hazel) of County Tyrone & Sammy (Pat) of Co. Armagh; late brother Gordon (late Gwen) Toronto, late Norman (Ann) Co. Armagh.

Bertie emigrated to Canada in July 1953 & worked at the TTC for 36 years, Eglinton Division Badge #2180.

Bertie was the beloved husband of Mary (Kelly) for over 70 years. They had 3 children, Bobby (Kim), Margaret (Sandy) & Gary (Joanne). They were there for their Dad when his health started to fail him.

Papa has 8 wonderful Grandchildren, Katie (Guy), Alison (Jon) Meilach; Shannon Brown; Ashley (Tyler) & Alexander (Carmen) Jeffrey; Samantha (Brennon), Robert (Sydney) & Sarah Brown.

Also blessed with 4 Great-Grandchildren, Hunter, Bennett, Kane & Aria.

Bertie always met everyone with a smile & a handshake. He will be dearly missed.

Bertie is now re-united with his brother Gordon (1983) & Norman (2023), whom he dearly missed.
