It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Raymond Wai-Chuen Yan on November 29, 2025 at the age of 88.
Raymond was born to Yan Han Ja and So Shui Fa on July 10, 1937 in Canton, China and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and brother. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Sandy Tao-Ying Yan, his children Richard Yan (Shelly Hawley-Yan), Ken Yan (Selina Yan) and Jason Yan (Marissa Chan), his grandchildren Emma (Rob), Connor, Julia, Katie, Avery and Alyssa, his three sisters and many nieces and nephews. His life was defined by his character and humility, with his greatest achievement being the family he loved so deeply.
Raymond will be remembered for his gentle heart, his dignity, his devotion, and the warmth he extended to all who knew him. His legacy of love, care, and quiet strength will live on in the generations he leaves behind.
