In Loving Memory of Radmila (Rada) Aleksic
May 5, 2025 | Aged 86 Years
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Rada, who departed this life peacefully on the morning of May 5, 2025, at the age of 86. A cherished wife, devoted mother, loving sister, loyal friend, and faithful servant, she touched countless lives with her grace, wisdom, and unwavering compassion.
Rada was an extraordinary woman whose life was rich with purpose and generosity. She traveled the world, not only in search of beauty and culture but in her quiet mission to help others - more people than we could ever name. Her acts of kindness were abundant and sincere, guided always by a deep sense of faith and service.
Even in her final days, after a long and courageous battle in hospital, Rada remained a light to those around her. Her strength and dignity were inspiring. Though the journey was difficult, she met it with unshakable grace. She is now at peace, embraced by the eternal love of the Lord she served so faithfully.
To know Rada was to experience a rare kind of warmth. Her smile could light up a room, and her kindness knew no bounds. She believed in the value of hard work, lived her faith daily, and brought calm and comfort wherever she went. Her home was a sanctuary of love, laughter, and unwavering support—a place where all were welcome.
Among her many roles, motherhood was her greatest pride. The love she gave, the lessons she taught, and the quiet strength she offered shaped generations. Her presence was a blessing beyond words, and her devotion to her family was the heart of her being.
Rada is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Branko, daughter Tanya, fur baby Geena, cousin Miso, Miroslav, Mila, Viga, Ljubo, Vule, Vojo, extended family; Jovkovic Family, Kumovi, Mihaljcic Family, and her many friends, neighbours and relatives in Canada, Montenegro, Serbia, and around the world.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Credit Valley Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion during her final chapter.
Rada leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and remarkable resilience. Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, we find comfort in knowing that she is now at rest in the arms of her Creator. She will be forever remembered and dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
