Paul Magowan, 71, passed away peacefully at home following complications from heart surgery, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and great stories.

Paul's heart belonged first and always to his wife of 45 years, Alyson, who was his universe. He was a proud dad to his son Chris (and daughter-in-law Nicole) and his daughter Adele (and son-in-law Alex), all of whom he confidently believed were the best, because Paul, naturally, was the best. His greatest joy and bragging right were his three grandsons, Arthur, Arnold, and Rush, the undeniable loves of his life and the recipients of his biggest smiles.

Paul loved the arts, music, fishing, and being in the kitchen, especially when cooking for the people he loved (and making sure everyone knew it was good). He was happiest laughing around the table with family and friends, telling stories, and savoring life's simple pleasures.

Paul will be deeply missed, endlessly loved, and forever remembered for his warmth, humour, and generous spirit.

Funeral arrangements will be held at Meadowvale Funeral Centre in Brampton, Ontario for Saturday, February 7th, 2026. Visitation starts at 1:30pm with a Funeral Service at 2:00pm. Mr. Magowan's Burial will take place at 3:00pm, with a Funeral Reception starting at 4:00pm.
