Paul James Freeman
November 10, 1955 – December 8, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Paul James Freeman, beloved husband, Brother, Dad, Papa, and Great Papa, who left us on December 8th, 2025, at the age of 70. Paul spent most of his married life in Toronto, living for many years in Leslieville before he and his wife moved to Scarborough after selling their family home.
A dedicated truck driver all his life, Paul worked hard to provide for the people he loved. He took pride in his work and even greater pride in his family.
Paul was happiest surrounded by friends and family, enjoying a cold beer and sharing stories, laughter, and the kind of easy company that made everyone feel at home. His presence filled every room with warmth, humor, and a down-to-earth honesty that will be deeply missed.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Pauline "pudge" Freeman, his sister Randy Rumney, his daughters Dale (Chuck), Lynzee (Brian), and Lisa (Chris). Paul was a proud Papa to his grandchildren Chayse (Lindsay), Lexzy, Krewz, Zaydn, Keinan, Dazsh and Markley, and a cherished Great Papa to Iylsa. He is predeceased by his parents, Florence and Keith Freeman.
A visitation will be held at Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 4 p.m. Family and friends are invited to come together during this time to honor Paul’s life, share memories, and say their goodbyes.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army East Toronto Citadel, 107 Cedarvale Ave., East York, M4C 4J9.
