It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Paul Fissenden who passed away in his sleep August 24, 2026.

Paul will be lovingly remembered by his children, Brandon (Sarah), Taylor (Dain), granddaughter Valerie and Janet who remained a cherished friend throughout the years. Uncle Paul will also be missed by Jack, Kyle, Melanie, Jessica, Blake, Ava, Luke. Predeceased by parents Perce and Thelma and brother David.

Paul was, above all else the best dad anyone could ask for. He had a gift for making any Christmas/Holiday or family gathering feel magical. He loved taking his family on vacation creating memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.

Paul spent many years coaching his son Brandon’s soccer team, where he not only shared his love of the game but made countless friendships along the way. Summers were especially meaningful to Paul, as his family returned year after year to Wells Beach Maine – a tradition that began in his childhood with his parents and brother and continued throughout his life.

Paul was one of the most caring and generous people you would ever meet. He loved deeply, made friends easily, and always put the people he loved first. You could always find Paul on his front porch with a drink, music and his best furry friend Chance.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Winbourne Park for the compassion and kindness they showed Paul. The dedication and care they provided will always be deeply appreciated.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
