It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Patsy Elizabeth Collins (née Russell), who passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 83. Born in Nassau, Bahamas, Patsy lived a full and meaningful life, touching the lives of many through her warmth, determination, and love of family.

Patsy was a trailblazer in her professional life, becoming the first woman to be promoted to a management position at Mercantile Bank. She was proud of her accomplishments and the path she helped pave for other women.

Outside of her career, Patsy had a zest for life. She loved to travel, and enjoyed playing tennis and golf. She was also a passionate cook who took great pleasure in preparing meals and sharing them with family and friends.

Patsy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Daryl Collins, her sister Jackie Robb, and her brother William Russell. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

She was predeceased by her father, Percy Russell, her mother, Elaine Russell, and her sister, Carolyn Baxter.

Patsy leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, accomplishment, and cherished memories that will remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
