It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Pamela Candido on July 9th, 2026 at the age of 67, surrounded by the love of her devoted husband, Eric.

For more than 4 decades, Pamela dedicated herself to nurturing and inspiring young minds as an elementary school teacher at Our Lady of Victory. Her classroom was a place of warmth, patience, and joy, where every child felt seen, valued, and encouraged. Generations of students remember her with gratitude and affection.

Pamela embraced life wholeheartedly. Together with Eric, she found great joy in travelling and discovering new places. Her deep love for animals, great and small, reflected the gentleness and compassion she extended to everyone she met.

Above all, Pamela and Eric shared an extraordinary and enduring love, building a life together filled with devotion, laughter, and companionship.

To know Pamela was to know pure kindness. She possessed a rare grace, proving to be just as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. Her gentle spirit left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to cross her path.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and will be forever cherished by her husband, Eric; her sister, Debra, and brother-in-law, Michael; and her nephews, Zachary and his wife Sofia and Keaton. She was predeceased by her parents, Lino and Simone DeMarchi (née Vaillancourt).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations in Pamela’s memory be made to Cortellucci Vaughan Hospice or the Toronto Humane Society.
