TAHAN, Ossana – It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ossana (Sonia) Tahan (nee Zaroukian) on August 22, 2026 at the age of 87 years, who died peacefully at Trillium Mississauga Hospital.
Devoted wife of her “sweetie-pie husband” George (predeceased) of 62 years, loving mother to daughter Tamar and cherished grandmother of Taline and Greg. Fondly remembered by her son-in-law Chris. Survived by her brother Daniel Zaroukian, her brother-in-law Hagop Tahan and many family members (Madjarian, Zaroukian, Madzounian and Hamboyan families).

She is predeceased by her son Greg and parents Nazar and Eva.

The family wishes to thank the Mississauga Trillium Hospital doctors and nurses for the care they provided to her.

A funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29 (with visitation at 9:30 a.m.) at:
York Cemetery – The Funeral Centre
160 Beecroft Rd.
North York, ON M2N 5Z5
Followed by interment.
