The family of Norah Isabella Irving sadly announces her passing on February 11, 2026 at her residence in Toronto at the age of 99. Predeceased by her beloved husband, John Edward Irving 20 years ago, she is survived by her loving daughters Elaine (Grant) and Margaret (William). She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Dérick (Belinda), Myriam, Kayli (Adam); and great-grandchildren Léa, Maïa, Stan, Stella, Nina and Ivy. Norah will be remembered for her talent and passion for flower arranging and her association with the Japanese Cultural Centre and the Toronto Botanical Garden. Norah was born on the same day as Queen Elizabeth II on April 21, 1926 and they would have both celebrated their 100th birthday this year. As a fitting recognition of this milestone, Norah’s celebration of life will be held on Sat. April 25, 2026 at 2 pm. Please see funeral details below.
