Hiền Diệu Thị Nguyễn, mother to Rebecca and Jessica Le, passed away on September 24th at 7:46pm, after a hard fought battle with cancer. Her final moments were spent surrounded by family and close friends.

She was known for her kindness, resilience, hard working nature, and her love for her nieces and nephews. A valued member of the Bramalea Vietnamese Alliance Church, she served as a Children’s Ministry teacher, choir member, and child of God. She had a great passion for her two daughters, cooking, caring for plants, and crocheting for her friends and family.

Hiền will be missed by all those who met her, enjoyed her cooking, and overall loving and warm presence. Her family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, and not for the sadness of her passing.

She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Le and Jessica Le; her siblings Duyên Đinh, Phiếu Nguyễn (Phụng Trịnh), Kim Hoa Nguyễn (Cường Châu), Ru Tơ Nguyễn (Thành Trần), Sáu Nguyễn, Samuel Nguyễn (Trang Trương), Philíp Nguyễn (Thanh Nguyễn), Tấn Nguyễn (Quỳnh Nguyễn), and Kim Trần (Minh Trần); her nieces and nephews, Thanh Nguyễn (Nghĩa Nguyễn), Phương Nguyễn, Thảo Nguyễn (Phương Võ), Nguyên Nguyễn, Kevin Nguyễn, Patrick Nguyễn, David Châu (Naomi Châu), Mathias Châu (Linh Châu), Daniel Võ, Jeremy Võ, Ân Nguyễn, Tery Nguyễn, Trisha Nguyễn, Ethan Nguyễn, Trevin Nguyễn, Caleb Nguyễn, Joshua Nguyễn, Nathan Trần, Noah Trần; an her great nieces and nephews, Phong Nguyễn, Phát Nguyễn, Phú Nguyễn, Nghĩa Võ, Ngọc Võ, Quyên Nguyễn, and Clara Châu.

A private ceremony will be held at Meadowvale Cemetery (7732 Mavis Rd, Brampton, ON L6Y 6B7) on October 10th, 2026. The family will receive friends for visitation at 10:00am-11:30am, followed by a formal service at 11:30am-12:45pm. Her burial will begin at 1:00pm, within the same property.

Her daughters kindly ask that, in honour of her love of traditional wear, guests wear an Áo Dài and/or bright, colourful attire to celebrate and cherish her memory. This may include colourful dresses and other vibrant clothing. Please avoid wearing red.

Flowers are welcome but not necessary.
