In memory of

Nancy De Lisser

August 23, 1943 - March 11, 2026

It is with great sadness that the De Lisser family would like to share the passing of Nancy Louise De Lisser (Lattimer), wife of Ronald George De Lisser, loving mother of Wendy King (De Lisser), Steven De Lisser and Stephanie De Lisser, mother-in-law of John King, Maureen De Lisser (Maugeri) and Mike Kent, proud grandmother of Emma King, Iain King, Andrew De Lisser and Sarah De Lisser, sister of Bill Lattimer and aunt of Betsi Lattimer and Barry Lattimer.

Nancy was the daughter of William and Yvonne Lattimer, born August 23, 1943, in Newark, Ohio. Her family moved to Kingston, Jamaica in 1959 where she would meet and marry her husband of 64 years, Ronald George De Lisser. Nancy was a strong, beautiful, brilliant woman who kept our little family together and always moving forward. Today, March 11, 2026, we say goodbye with tears, memories and a simple poem.

A string of islands in the sea, was our home, both you and me. And though it was a special place, we had to leave without a trace. Countless years now have passed, yet memories flicker and somehow last. Standing on that endless beach, a passing jet just out of reach. Powder sand beneath my toes, a million shells, no one knows. A billion stars turn on the night, there’s our house, a single light. Sleep comes easy in this place, the ocean air upon my face. Eternal are these memories, of our home, both you and me.

A private service and celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at a later date.
