It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Chan Kun Mio on May 2, 2026, at the age of 67.

Kun was a loving husband to Penny, a devoted father to Karina and Jon, and a cherished member of the Richmond Hill church and community. As a teacher, he dedicated much of his life to guiding and inspiring others with kindness, patience, and compassion — values deeply rooted in his Christian faith. He found great joy in music, nature, food, and travel, and will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends.

Though he will be deeply missed, his memory and the impact he had on those around him will continue to live on in our hearts. We take comfort in knowing that he is now with the Lord.
