It is with deep sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Metodi (Ted) Blazevski on July 24, 2026, at home with his beloved wife, Mira, by his side.

Ted was predeceased by his cherished son, Jim. He leaves behind his loving wife, Mira; his son, Bob; daughter-in-law, Anna; and his treasured grandchildren, Benett and Adam, who will miss him dearly.

Born in Macedonia, Ted immigrated to Canada in search of greater opportunities and a brighter future for his family. Through hard work, determination, and exceptional skill, he built a successful career as a master carpenter. His craftsmanship contributed to many of Toronto's landmark projects, including Commerce Court, numerous downtown office towers, and the iconic CN Tower. His work helped shape the city skyline, leaving a lasting legacy as one of the many builders who helped create the Toronto we know today.

Ted had a lifelong passion for sports, particularly soccer, which he enjoyed both playing and following. He loved travelling and made many fond memories exploring new places with family and friends. A natural handyman with an endless willingness to help others, Ted was always ready to lend a hand, whether building, repairing, or sharing his expertise. His generosity, resourcefulness, and strong work ethic earned him the respect and admiration of everyone who knew him.

More than anything, Ted valued people. He treasured time spent with family, enjoyed the company of friends, and was a familiar and friendly presence within his community. Known for his warm smile, quick wit, and great sense of humour, he loved sharing stories, jokes, and laughter with his neighbours and those around him.

Ted will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, generosity, and the enduring impact he made on the lives of his family, friends, and community. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
