Methodios (Mike) Coroneos passed away peacefully a less than two weeks from his 96th birthday. He was born in Agia Paraskevi, Greece on May 21, 1930, where he later married Zoi, and together they had two children, Athena and Tom.
In 1955, Mike left Greece to travel to Australia, where he worked on a farm before immigrating to Canada in 1959. In 1960, he was reunited in Toronto with his wife, the late Zoi, and their children, Athena and the late Tom, where the family made their home.
Mike spent many years working in the restaurant industry and eventually owned a restaurant with his two brothers. He was a devoted father to Athena (Bill) and to his late son, Tom (Fay), and a loving grandfather and great grandfather. His eyes would light up whenever his great grandchildren visited, bringing him immense joy.
He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, perseverance, and deep love for his family.
