Metaxia was born in Sparta, Greece on August 17, 1946 and passed on May 12, 2026 at the age of 79.
She came to Toronto, Canada in 1969, and worked as a seamstress for most of her life.

She had a passion for music and being the life behind many family gatherings. She enjoyed gardening in her free time and held a deep appreciation for animals. Metaxia was always very social and made many friends everywhere she went.

Survived by her eldest brother Kostas and older sister Georgina, along with many nieces and nephews.
She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
