May Yuk Sham passed away peacefully on the evening of June 15th, 2025 at Mackenzie Health Richmond Hill Hospital, with her family by her side. She was 85 years old.

Born in Hong Kong on April 5th, 1940, May Yuk dedicated the early part of her life to caring for others as a registered nurse at Kwong Wah Hospital. In 1969, she married Shui Chun Sham, and together they built a life centered around family, commitment, and quiet strength.

In 1986, May Yuk immigrated to Canada with her husband and two young children. She embraced her new life fully, becoming a devoted homemaker and nurturing her family with love and selflessness. After her husband’s passing in 2001, she continued to provide constant support and stability to those around her, never wavering in her devotion.

May Yuk will be remembered for her kindness, her gentle but determined spirit, and the care she showed to everyone she encountered. She had a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys—good food (especially Shark Fin soup and Abalone), playing puzzles on the iPad, listening to music, traveling, and eating with friends and family. She especially enjoyed morning exercises with her local group at Pacific Mall, followed by dim sum lunches filled with conversation and laughter.

Above all, May Yuk was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter Vincy Sham, her son Franklin Sham, and her two beloved granddaughters, Selene and Jasmine, who brought her tremendous pride and happiness.

May Yuk leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and quiet strength. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28 at York Cemetery & Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Road, Toronto. Visitations will start from 1:00pm. The Funeral Services will begin at 2:00pm, and the Burial will take place at York Cemetery following the service. A consolation meal will follow at The ONE Fusion Cuisine, 9019 Bayview Ave, Unit 9, Richmond Hill at 4:00PM.


沉痛悼念 岑陳美玉女士
一九四〇年四月五日 － 二〇二五年六月十五日

我們摯愛的母親、祖母、外祖母、親人與摯友——岑陳美玉女士，已於二〇二五年六月十五日晚間在親人陪伴下，於**加拿大安大略省列治文山麥健健康醫院（Mackenzie Health Richmond Hill Hospital）**安詳辭世，享壽八十五歲。

美玉女士於一九四〇年四月五日出生於香港，自年輕時便投身護理工作，於廣華醫院擔任註冊護士，致力於護理病患、服務社群，展現出無私奉獻與慈愛精神。

一九六九年，她與岑樹進先生結為連理，婚後攜手共築溫馨家庭，夫妻鶼鰈情深，相濡以沫。

一九八六年，美玉女士偕夫婿與兩名年幼子女移民加拿大，開展新生活。她全心投入家庭，無怨無悔地照顧家人，盡展母愛偉大。自二〇〇一年夫婿辭世後，她依舊堅強面對人生，獨力支撐家庭，成為子女與親人的精神支柱，令人敬佩。

她一生待人慈和、心地善良，性情堅毅溫柔，凡與她接觸者皆感其溫暖。她熱愛生活，興趣廣泛，樂於享受美食（特別喜愛魚翅與鮑魚）、聆聽音樂、旅遊觀光、以iPad拼圖。平日常與好友於太古廣場晨運，運動後相約飲茶，笑語盈盈，樂在其中。

美玉女士最重視家庭，是子女眼中的慈母，孫輩心中的慈祖。她膝下留有愛女岑穎詩女士（Vincy Sham）、愛子岑偉建先生（Franklin Sham），以及兩位最摯愛的外孫女及孫女Selene與Jasmine，皆深以她為榮，永懷感恩。

美玉女士一生播灑愛與溫情，無聲地影響著身邊每一個人。她雖辭世，然音容宛在，恩情永存，親友對其思念將長留心中，歷久彌新。

葬禮定於2025年6月28日（星期六），假多倫多 York 墓園與殯儀中心（York Cemetery & Funeral Centre，160 Beecroft Road, Toronto舉行。下午一時正起 親友可以蒞臨弔唁。下午二時正開始葬禮, 隨後將舉行安葬儀式, 地點為York 墓園。解穢酒定於下午四時正, 假聚龍軒 (The ONE Fusion Cuisine, 9019 Bayview Ave, Unit 9, Richmond Hill).
