Lucille Marion Pipher

February 19, 1937 – August 25, 2026

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Lucille Pipher, passed away in hospital on August 25, 2026 at the age of 89. Luci always had the best sense of humour and could strike up a conversation with anyone. Luci was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting, traveling, and craft group (more so enjoying the snacks). She had a strong faith and attended the Centennial Albert United Church regularly.

Luci was one of 6 children and is survived by her sisters Noreen and Joan and her brother Bill; her son Ross Smith; her grandchildren Matthew Smith (Lindsay), and Rebecca Worsley (Codie); and, her great-granddaughter Mia. Her passing was predeceased by her late husbands Doug (1995), and Ken (2018), as well as by her daughter-in-law, Leanne (2024).

Those Blessed to be touched by Luci know she leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, independence, faith, and unending humour. She will be missed beyond words but will remain in our hearts forever.

A visitation will be held at the Thorton Funeral Centre, on Friday, September 4 between 12:00 and 2:00pm. Please join us for light refreshments during the visitation.
