Lena Nikolovski, 89 years old of East Gwillimbury, Ontario, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 surrounded by her family. Born on May, 25, 1935 in Poradin, Bitola, Macedonia, Lena lived a life full of love, dedication, and generosity. She was known for being strong-willed and tenacious throughout her life.

Lena is survived by her daughter, Suzana, her son, Peter (Sandy) and her 3 grandchildren, Christopher (Mara), Patricia, Paul (Melissa). She was predeceased by her loving husband, Risto Nikolovski. Lena and her late husband, Risto, moved from Macedonia to Australia with their son, Peter. A few years after, Lena’s daughter, Suzana was born and eventually, the family moved to Toronto, Ontario Canada. It was at this time, Peter met Sandy, and Lena’s true joys in life began, her grandchildren.

Her grandchildren will always remember their Baba by her strength and how proud she was of her grandchildrens’ successes. She always reminded them to be active, to do well in school, and to celebrate the little things as we move through life.

Lena will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love for her family and her faith in God will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
